Goodwood Revival, West Sussex

A real jewel in the classic car crown, this annual event always follows a vintage theme and celebrates classic British cars – with period costumes encouraged! From demonstrations to exhibitions, you can spend hours strolling amongst the paddocks getting up close and personal with some of the fantastic details that make the racing legends so iconic.
The show includes the St Mary’s Trophy, with former F1 and BTCC drivers showing their skills in touring cars taken straight from the sixties.
Concours of Elegance, South West London

When it comes to the perfect backdrop to view some of the finest classic cars around, there’s no better place than the quintessentially British grounds of Hampton Court Palace.
With around 60 cars taking part in the actual concours, the winning car is chosen by their peers – so it’s a competition that’s founded on true passion.
At the site you’ll also be able to see hundreds of other classic cars displayed for you to browse and find the perfect spot to sit and admire the Concours of Elegance.
Beaulieu Motor Museum, Hampshire

An award-winning day out for all the family, Beaulieu is home to over 250 cars, as well as land speed record breakers and examples of automotive innovation. Walking through the serene grounds of the Victorian house, you’ll also be treated to exhibitions such as the secret army display, as well as memorable cars in the World of Top Gear.
If you want to get a better view of the whole park, simply jump on the monorail or veteran bus and you’ll be transported in style. Open all year, this is a great destination for a family day out.
VW Festival, West Yorkshire

In the beautiful grounds of Harewood House, VW enthusiasts will feel like they’ve walked straight into a dream! With a variety of classic Beetles and buses, through to some of the rip-roaring GTIs – you can get truly stuck in.
The event is absolutely brimming with things to do. Live music, kids’ entertainment, VW graffiti art and of course, the Show & Shine competition, you’ll not want to miss a minute – especially
as you could be in with a chance of winning a restored classic Beetle in the raffle!
Brooklands Museum, Surrey

If you want to go back to the origin of UK motorsport, then you’ll want to take a trip to Brooklands, home to the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit.
Now, the site displays examples of British engineering from the 20th century and gives you a chance to keep your head in the clouds with a Concorde exhibition. Keep an eye on their website as there are specialist days and events throughout the year too.
