We love a good staycation, after all, there’s so much to see and do in the UK! So, we’ve picked some of our favourite UK touring caravan sites that are well worth a trip.
Highlands End Holiday Park, Dorset
One of the best holiday parks in the south, Highlands End is the perfect site for families. With a pool, outdoor playground, indoor soft play and plenty of evening entertainment throughout the year, this Visit England five star rated park is a must-stay for touring caravans.
With loads to do in the area, you could even pop down to West Bay where they filmed Broadchurch!

Swiss Farm Touring and Camping, Oxfordshire
A stone’s throw away from the Chiltern Hills, Swiss Farm Touring and Camping offers the ideal balance between relaxing on site and being best-placed to explore the area. The park has been run by the Borlase family since 1946 and is popular with holidaymakers looking to get away from the London area.
Situated close to Henley on Thames, you’ll want to make time to discover the fine shops and see where the Royal Regatta takes place.

Oxon Hall Touring and Holiday Home Park, Shropshire
If you’re taking your four-legged friend when you’re going touring, Oxon Hall is nestled in a lovely, leafy green park near Shrewsbury town centre and is pet friendly. With loads of places to hike and walk, you’ll also be close enough to visit Ironbridge and the Welsh Marches.
There’s a shop on site and even a park-and-ride service to the town so you can leave your tourer and start site seeing!

Ord House Country Park, Northumberland
With 44-acre grounds, you’ll have plenty of space to roam at Ord House. The carefully landscaped site has generous touring pitches and you’ll be able to make use of the facilities including the bar, grocery shop, camping store and family bathroom suites.
There’s a large play area on site for children, and the market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed isn’t too far away either.

Cenarth Falls Holiday Park, Ceredigion
At this park in west Wales, you’ll be able to experience everything from market towns to the coastal shoreline. Cenarth village is known for its fishing and there’s a beautiful walk by the river Teifi with waterfalls dotted along the route.
The park itself has an impressive leisure complex with a heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and jacuzzi. There’s also an outdoor swimming pool, play area, games room and sun patio.
